The CI Precision Solution

CI Precision’s Ci-DMS is a Manufacturing Execution System used to manage and monitor production processes in manufacturing facilities. The software provides real-time visibility on production operations, equipment status and inventory levels as well as tracks and analyses production data to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance product quality.

Completely flexible, user configurable and scalable, the Ci-DMS MES is designed specifically for the pharmaceutical industry with a low cost of set-up and can integrate seamlessly with any software or hardware interface.

In this Ci-DMS MES project:

• Ci-DMS was implemented across 3 dispensing booths with 2 Supervisory Terminals
• CI Precision provided solution design, validation consultancy and user training
• The project involved personnel from Production, Quality, Validation, IT & Engineering
• Ci-DMS was integrated with the in-house ERP System
• The project was completed within an agreed 5-month timeframe
• ROI achieved within nine months

Implementation of the Ci-DMS MES helped the client make significant savings by ensuring quality control and eliminating QC checking. Following this initial project:

• There have been two subsequent projects (changing ERP to SAP)
• Joint discussions to roll out Ci-DMS globally
